Taught by Riverdale’s own, Shelia McCorry, a certified 200 hour (adult) and Radiant Child Levels 1 and 2 Yoga instructor.

Children’s Yoga benefits children by increasing their health, fitness levels, flexibility, strength, balance and coordination while also helping to calm emotions, release anxiety and relax. During the weekly sessions, students will practice postures, learn breathing and meditation techniques, and participate in fun games and activities. The sessions encourage concentration, positive thinking, confidence and self-esteem. The fun poses and games also give free rein to children’s imaginations and creativity.
